2011-2012 Waterfowl Season

The 2011-2012 maybe shaping up to be the best waterfowl hunting in a generation according to many biologist across the country.  Breeding grounds conditions were very favorable to ducks and geese this year across the pothole region.  Even species of ducks that have struggled for past few years Scaup aka. broadbills and canvasbacks are doing much better.  If we get seasonable weather this fall and winter it could be a epic season on the New Jersey coast!

Many biologists feel that great hunting opportunities can exist this season that haven’t been seen since the late 1970’s early 1980’s, right about the time that I cut my teeth with waterfowl hunting.  The boats are ready, the decoys are comming along and we are as excited as ever to start the season.  Dates are booking fast but there are still some prime late season dates available, we look forward to seeing you this season, which should be a memorable one on the New Jersey Coast!
